As a Food & Beverage Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a very important role in ensuring all Food & Beverage locations receive their orders as accurately and timely as possible. This position is physically demanding; you will be responsible for receiving, storing and distributing product for all locations.  You will assist with training, motivating and supervising a team of seasonal associates in addition to keeping accurate inventory, restocking product as it comes in and maintaining a safe work environment in accordance with policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Act as liaison for all communication between supervision and management.
  • Interact with and assist associates and guests daily in an outgoing, friendly, versatile, flexible and professional manner; answer questions, ensure quality service and resolve complaints.
  • Conduct training and development sessions focused on food safety and sanitation, policies and procedures, as well as training modules specific to area of responsibility; utilize active training techniques to encourage participation, manage performance by testing for understanding and respond appropriately to distractions, disruptions and challenging situations.
  • Complete miscellaneous administrative paperwork; ensure documentation is complete for all associates which may include: equipment or production methods, chemical and sanitation procedures, daily time sheets, attendance, data entry and subsequent reporting.
  • Operate fork lifts, pallet jacks and other warehouse vehicles and equipment; load and unload product from trucks and/or other vehicles.
  • Take product orders and provide information in person and via telephone regarding products within the warehouse.
  • Pull product to fill orders while verifying product is fresh and in good condition; deliver items to locations; count and document all product recorded.
  • Maintain rotation of stock. Identify efficient storage methods.
  • Follow proper storage requirements of equipment, supplies and chemicals.
  • Retrieve empty kegs, crates, etc. from locations.
  • Complete daily tasks without constant supervision.
  • Assist with monthly inventories.

  • Provide guest service according to Six Flags standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Six Flags' Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.
  • Meet scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
  • Meet Six Flags' attendance requirements as outlined in Six Flags' attendance policies.
  • Adhere to Six Flags' Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Driver’s License preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to take initiative and maintain the company’s reputation and dedication to safety, service, courtesy, cleanliness and integrity.
  • Ability to utilize strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to utilize problem solving skills including having the ability to remain patient, poised and alert to cope with challenging/unique situations.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong time management and organizational skills in order to optimize productivity.
  • Ability to learn and communicate all policies and procedures quickly as well as follow detailed instructions.
  • Mandatory completion of Basic Food Safety & Sanitation Training, ServSafe Training and ServSafe Alcohol Training as provided to obtain certification(s). This may involve verbal, written and/or practical tests.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
  • Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
  • Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
