Associate Experience
Preferred Majors: Human Resources, Event Management, Hospitality Management
As an Associate Experience Intern, Create, organize, and facilitate employee events, recognition initiatives, and engagement programs for a diverse workforce of over 5,000 associates. You will collaborate with HR and cross-functional teams to enhance the employee experience by promoting connection, inclusion, and a sense of community.
HRIS/Administrative Systems
Preferred Majors: Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership
As an HRIS/Administrative Systems Intern, you will partner with HR professionals to provide excellent service to our associates and complete a variety of projects. You'll have a focus in the utilization of HRIS and Administrative systems (Dayforce, UKG/Kronos, Equifax, etc.), associate medical accommodations (ADAAA), and the Social Security card acquisition process for our international associates. You'll also gain valuable experience ensuring that all areas of Human Resources adhere to Six Flags policies and procedures as well as Local, State, and Federal law.
Employee Relations
Preferred Majors: Human Resources Management, Business Administration
As an Employee Relations Intern, you will with workplace investigations, policy interpretation, conflict resolution, and data tracking related to employee relations. You’ll also collaborate with HR professionals to promote fair practices, enhance communication, and contribute to a positive work environment.
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be attending an accredited college or university
Work a minimum of 8 weeks between May 1-August 31
Availability requirements:
Minimum of 4 days per week of full availability
2 of the 4 days must include either Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday
Work a minimum average of 32 hours per week
Attend required professional development events
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs
Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law
Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law
